Zara tells (almost) all...

Good Enough to…?

I did something new in 2012. Well, okay I did a few new things, but this was one thing that left me happy-dancing for quite a while!

I wrote a book (nothing new there, haha), in first person (hmm, new), about four people and lots of Christmas naughtiness (well, okay a lot of my books are quite naughty) and it’s Book 1 in a series (yup, not done a series before), self published (scarily new) … and the happy dancing bit? Well, it’s the first time I’ve had a book on an Amazon Bestseller list, and the first time I’ve had people asking when the next one is out!

So, I thought now was a good time to talk about the other books in the series.

Book 1, Good Enough to Share is about Holly, Sophie, Charlie and Dane but mainly centres around Holly (who tells the story) and Dane. They start off the festive season with serious hots for each other and by the time December is out they’ve lived out a few of their fantasies and…?
Well, I don’t want to give too much away if you’ve not read the story, but I will say that you’ll be able to read each of the other stories independently – although of course if you really want to understand the characters and their backgrounds it will help if you’ve read the books that come before.

So, what happens between Dane and Holly? Is it a HEA? Dane’s story will reveal so much more about his past, his family issues and about long, tall Sal and whether he’s going to let those insecurities that she stirred up destroy what could be a great future. Sally left his life once, but when you’ve been married can you ever forget that other person? And what happens if they come back?

I fell in love with Sophie when I wrote Good Enough, she is just so, well, loveable. She’s cuddly, happy and giving, though she can be a bit bossy with a tendency to try and sort other people’s lives out for them. But she needs to sort her own life out, and now she’s finally admitted to the fact and she’s going to tell us how she tries. The type of childhood she’s had would have destroyed someone less determined, but there’s more to the story than that. Isn’t there always? Why did she leave her childhood home, something which she’s sure caused the disastrous consequences she blames herself for? Well there was a man involved, and a heartbreak that would be hard to risk again. And guilt…

Wouldn’t you love to have a Charlie in your life? I would, and so would Anna. Again. But, as the friends have tried to tell him, going back doesn’t always work. There are reasons for breaking up, and there are reasons for trying again. But when you’ve moved on, tried new things, is going back a mistake? Anna trusted the old Charlie, but what about the updated version she’s come back to? Growing up can mean growing apart – or it can mean something better. Charlie is the most gentle, laid back of the four friends, but when he’s after something he really cares about then we see a whole new side to him. Passion and jealousy can make us do things we never thought we would!

Four friends, four stories and future that could bring them back together or set them off in different directions! Which one would you like to read next?

An erotic contemporary romance, including menage, F/M/F, M/F/M and sex outdoors.

One Christmas, four friends - will they still be together by New Year?
Divorce wasn’t part of the plan for Holly, but then again nor was spending the festive period with two sexy men and Santa’s little helper! With a disastrous marriage behind her, and three good friends who are willing to share, moving on could be fun – if only she can accept that sometimes her heart is wiser than her head.
Dane doesn’t do commitment, which suits Holly just fine. But when things heat up between the four friends, he’s forced to face up to his past. Will realising he’s good enough mean he no longer wants to share…?
Laid back Charlie knows that if his best friend becomes his lover he could end up losing big time. But can he resist? And when the girl he once loved comes back, who will he decide to spend the New Year with?
…And Sophie just wants to have fun. She’s got the answers to everyone's problems, except her own …. is she the one who needs good friends most of all?
Will a caring, sharing, lust and love filled Christmas lead to the happy ever after they all desire?
